It’s pretty rare to catch a walleye on Mukooda. I’ve fished 125+ days on the lake and only remember about 4 fish being caught. I’ve heard stories about a “last ice” spot for them but when we go in early June or early September they are hard to come by. Nothing fancy here. Just a twitch and pause retrieve. This one was caught just off a rock bar peninsula in about 14ft of water. Weeds were still growing so he must have come up out of the cover to hit the lure.
